BENEFITS:      The Lake Rabun Foundation

Over 60 fine artists are busy getting ready for the 2008 ART AT THE LAKE show!!! The public is invited and we hope you will mark your calendars and plan to join us. There is no fee for attending or parking and dress is casual. The setting is breathtaking and the level of artistic talent all under one gorgeous roof is RARE. This year’s show has expanded to include even more artists in The Pavilion’s second level.

10% of Artist's proceeds from sales at this show will go to the Lake Rabun Foundation. Last year over $1250 was raised and we hope to raise more this year. This foundation supports many worthy causes in the local community as well as providing college scholarships to deserving Rabun County High School seniors.

Please come and chat with your favorite artist and see their latest work. A wide variety of art will be displayed and for sale: stunning oils, acrylics, pastels, photography, watercolors, encaustic (hot wax), mixed media, jewelry, turned wood, stained glass, painted furniture, and beautiful pottery for tables and gardens -- all incredible to see and in some cases touch.

The artists participating include: Alan Zarter, Alycen Whiddon, Ann Thompson, April Hawkins, Betty Williams, Bobby Scroggs, Burns Griffith, Carroll Greenleaf, Celia Durand, Charlene Fisch, Cheryl Gehring, Deb Snyder, Denise Hopkins, Dodie Stockton, Dorris Spradly, Ellene Breedlove, Farish Moorman, Frank Bean, Frank Lustig, Georgia Heritage Center for the Arts members, Hambidge/Debra Sanders, Helen Roberts, Hochokan/ Kim Miller, Hope Hailey, Janie Owens, Jaymi Hampton, Jean Stewart, Jeanne Cowan, Jessie Collins, John and Peggy Boozer, Jon Houglum, Kathy Beehler, Kathy Ford, Kathy Hamdy-Swink, Kimberly Crowe, Kitty Barnett , Laura McGuffey, Libby Mims, Lucia Scroggs, Lynn Becker, Lynn Schwab, Lynne Mitchell , Mary Brennan, Murphy Trogdon Ayala, Nannette Johnson, North Georgia Arts Guild members, Paula Van Huss, Rennie Davant, Richard Bunnell, Robie Fisch, Rose Greenleaf, Sally Robbe, Sandy O'Brien, Susan Belew, Susan Cronk, Susan Westmoreland, Terry Guthrie, Wayland Moore, Wynelle Bunnell, Zoe Schumaker.

The funding for this event is provided thru a grant from a non-profit foundation who wishes to remain anonymous.
